Lemon Tree Hotel and suites

I have really mixed feelings about leaving a review here. My mom and I went for a little two night stay a couple weekends ago. We wanted something cheap, just a bed, so yes I understand I can't have high expectations although when my mom booked this place she saw the good rooms and good reviews - this is not what we experienced. We didn't even walk into the lobby yet and the first thing you see is a Halloween butcher with glow up lights and knifes. I know it was Halloween but that's not appropriate if you are welcoming families. The service was horrible, the first night I didn't sleep because all night I could hear different people ringing the bell several times and calling out for the attendant, who I don't even know if eventually came out. Staff did awesome with any requests. It's not their fault someone flooded the room above us. They handled out reroom without hesitation or questions. The rooms could be in better shape, but the area was quiet enough to get a good night's rest.

My wife and I decided to spend the night here to do some swimming and enjoy a couples massage, based on a friend’s recommendation. The service was top-notch! Food was phenomenal and the views of Kathmandu and the surrounding hills from our balcony, as well as at the top Slounge were just stunning! We will certainly come back the next time we visit Nepal!

The space on the room was ok the shower head would be strong and splash the everywhere, no room cleaning at all notice I stayed two nights, the parking lot get full after 9pm so you have to park on the red line inside the hotel in hopes they don’t hit your car I told the front desk about it and the person just say park anywhere just don’t block the path way for the cars but it clearly say there they are not responsible if anything happens to your car. So just keep that in mind

I will never stay here again I left $100 cash deposit and at checkout he only gave me back $60 because I got some blood on my sheets from a period accident. He wanted to keep 70 out of the $100 but I threw a fit and ended up leaving with $60 instead of $100 I will never stay here again that is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of at any motel I've ever stayed at accidents happen That's why the sheets are white that they can be bleached! I'm disgusted right now with the lemon tree
