Le Petit Chef - New York

Took my youngest brother here for a late Christmas present. From beginning to end, this was a very unique experience and a lovely one. We were greeted by the most lovely host. First of all, I was not expecting an amuse bush since there was not one listed on the menu and booking that right off that was a lovely addition. Cocktails were fun, especially the cotton candy Cosmo, which is interactive! Food and presentation were lovely. I especially enjoyed the state course and the rice pudding to conclude the night was absolutely fantastic. I will be thinking about that rice pudding for the rest of my life.

I was really excited to try Le Petit Chef because the concept is well-known and the price sets high expectations. Unfortunately, the food quality did not match the cost at all. We paid $179 per person plus tax and gratuity, and with an extra drink the total came to about $245 per person. For that price, the experience was honestly disappointing. Food: • The burrata salad was served cold. Burrata is usually expected to be at least room temperature or slightly warm, and this completely affected the texture and flavor. • The lobster bisque itself was very average and tasted similar to something you’d get at Panera Bread, with just a few pieces of lobster added. However, the croutons served on the side smelled like old, stale oil, which was extremely unpleasant and completely ruined the dish

I dont know when Ive had so much fun at a meal! This little 6cm chef entertains across five courses. We had the Premium package, and were impressed with everything from the amount of lobster in the bisque to the temperature at which the steak was served. The human chef was entertaining and attentive, noting and highlighting special events (we were celebrating a birthday, whicb resulted in everyone singing HBD!) while ensuing that the food and the program continued on without a hitch. There is a waiting area for use before and after the show. We were able to sit in the waiting area while the next show went on, and even the waiting area was a fun experience. Moe the bartender continued the tradition of excellent, attentive service, and our time there created the perfect ending to a perfect

It was a very tiny room but set up comfortably. The service was very friendly and definitely attentive. The food was a good variety of items and mostly delicious. I love that you can specify a child’s ticket and the menu is tweaked for them. Even with all of these amazing things to say I am not sure the price fits the experience. It’s a once in a lifetime or blue moon thing. Definitely not something the average person could afford to do repeatedly. Overall, happy though. Just disappointed I most likely can’t bring my little one back to enjoy it as well.

Lovely dinner; the food and drinks were delectable and the chef personable. There are 2 seatings: 5:30p and 8p. Great for kids as well and fully wheelchair accessible!
