Le Méridien New York, Central Park

I was in a Classic Reserve room, which was cozy and calm with wood, leather and warm lights. Furnishings had a patina rather than being outdated, toiletries were Malin+Goetz (good) and slippers were provided (great). View of the the hotel rooms scross the street (not great). Location is very good. However, I wouldn’t recommend this if you want Marriott status benefits. The hotel recently stopped offering breakfast as a welcome gift and based on my experience upgrades are not common.

We are local but needed a hotel in the city to be able to hop on a train early the next morning. This hotel is going to be our "go-to" for recommendations to friends and family.||Location is fantastic - walkable to major sights in Midtown, Central Park and easy access to several subway stations. I liked the fact that the hotel felt small - it has an unassuming entrance and small lobby but it is nicely decorated with some seating.||The room itself was stunning - I loved the wood panelling, large windows and the choice of furnishings. It has almost a vintage vibe, especially in the bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean and had good storage space despite being on the smaller side (typical for New York City hotels). The bed was comfortable and even though we were in the heart of the city,

First off , a huge thank you to the housekeeping team. - they were exceptionally kind, friendly and helpful. The front desk staff was great, VJ and Ricardo 👍🏼 And the concierge service was fantastic. Overall , it was a wonderful stay. The hotel was quiet with no noises issues at all. The gym is well equipped , though a couple more machines would make it even better. Engineering came promptly to change my filter. - Much appreciated! Thank you to the entire team. I came here for work and it's important to have certain things close by. Market next door, time square 1 mile away, target , WH .7 miles by Columbus circle. LV Dior etc 3 min walk ...keep your credit cards at home. lol Hotel great location, parking is the only issue in the city! Hotel has Valet.

Didnt refund my MoMa tickets even though they said they will. I'm a marriot bonvoy member and i told them to log the stay into my account. Didnt as well. I didnt even get a receipt so i cant see what im paying for???????

Staff service and friendliness was exceptional from the front desk to housekeeping. They remembered our room number when I went down to ask a question. Restaurant service at the Paris Bar felt personalized; they accommodated our wishes. The food was good to very good--not totally sure it was with the prices. We ended up getting takeout for several meals. (Kin Ramen around the block was amazing!)
