LaPlace Riverside RV Park

Truly,I have readed the reviews for this location, and everybody has the right to their opinion, but at the same time this isn't a regular rv parking, we love this place, its for people who come to work, only adults, work hard, in a safe location knowing that no one is going to mess with your stuff, quite day and night its very clean,the owners are straight up with there rules, and also restaurant and stores are close by, and its a 30 minute drive to New Orleans if your planning a day out

I am saying this with no exaggeration at all…the owners are the worst, most rudest people I have ever come in contact with in my life. My husband works out of town 9 months out of the year so we have dealt with plenty of rv parks and every single one, everyone’s been super nice and helpful. First of all, let me just let you know, the man owner is retired military and runs the rv park like a sergeant. We showed up, the guy seemed ok and was going to help us back into our spot. He said “ I want your camper exactly in the middle of the two lines”. Two seconds into it, he is cussing at my husband because he was having to try more than once to get the camper exactly in the middle. The park is tiny and very tight with everyone who is there, so it wasn’t that easy to maneuver. My husband and I we

called to get information on staying no laundry facility on site and they also don't take cards which is a big issue for some people who don't have time to get cash out and also they don't let people in with kids wouldn't recommend. no website or information you can get without calling. the lady could of been a whole lot nicer too. be aware before booking.

Place is clean and level. Very, very tight for a large 5th wheel camper to maneuver into the park from the road and spotting your camper. Small campers should have no problem, though. As of 08-20-2021 they are still recovering from the hurricane so the internet is down. No threaded coupling on sewer hose connection.

You couldn’t ask for better camp host. They run a tight ship. Nice, clean, quiet. Best prices around. Thank you for having me. Love this little place.
