This hotel has the best location in Manhattan this is my second time in nyc and really loved being in that location everything is a waking distance, rooms are okay for the price you pay especially that I was during low season. Shared bathroom is clean but you have to bring sandals or flip flops to wear and hand and face towels. Also the heat was not as good and I was there during the snow storm so the coldest time to be there but the stuff’s gave me an extra heater that I used overall I had a great experience.

I stayed 2 nights Nov.6 and Nov.7. |1. I have the confirmation but it took the reception nearly 2 hours to check me in!!! |2. The room was way too small than they described.|3. When I checked out, they wanted me to pay for a missing towel. But I travel with my own towel and never touched theirs. The Clerk asked to see my towel to believe it was not their towel!

Great location, lovely staff, clean amenities but the owner needs to sort the heating out. A room that has no working heating when it is minus 3deg Celcius outside is not acceptable. I should not have to sleep fully dressed with an overcoat on in paid accomodation. Having spoken to other guests I am alone. This property needs an upgrade on the heating system. I would not recommend staying here in the winter.

Positive: I liked the quiet, secluded location and its nearness to travel hubs. Negative: I had to go from the hotel to Penn Station very early in the morning, and I was unfamiliar with the streets, I had some hesitation walking with my travel case. All went well but if there had been someone at the desk, it would have comforted me.

I stayed with a friend for NYCC in a "City Double Room" for four days. Overall it was good enough to stay for the price overall on a budget. A more detailed breakdown of the pros and cons. Pros - Location is great for just Javitz Center, Times Square, especially Madison Square Garden and more. - Rates are very reasonable - Offers bag check before and after stay, which isn't as common outside of major hotels. - Building and rooms are very secure with custom keypad entry numbers that activate at 3 PM of check in day and deactivate at 11 am of checkout day. Cons - I called in advance and was told the City Double Room had a queen bed but it was more like a full bed. Probably fine for a couple but not so much otherwise. - Furniture in room was very shoddy and even broken in some parts - Beddi
