Lakeview Inn & Suites

Very nice location. Rooms are clean and the front desk friendly. Just far enough out of town to enjoy quiet, but close enough to restraunts to enjoy. This is a do again location. (Some might think dated, however the room is great... better then some of the chain hotels I've recently stayed with)

Positive: The owner was genial, knowledgeable, and responsive. The owner manned the front desk, and had been with the hotel for 17 years. He was interesting and kind. Negative: Smokers positioned in front of room, one pillow had hair and dust.

I stayed at the Lakeview Inn and Suites on a fishing trip. Just was looking for ok place at low price. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was older but well maintained, clean and friendly. I was not sure what to expect, but it certainly exceeded my expectations. I had stayed at another place in Okeechobee a few weeks before that was rated higher but was definitely a step below this in terms of cleanliness, quality of linens, and appearance of room. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The manager was also very friendly and good to talk with, plus they have spaces for boat parking.

We enjoyed our stay at the Lakeside Hotel and Suites. The room was very clean (most important feature of a hotel room), the shower was wonderful (a nice luxury) and the folks running the hotel were welcoming and hospitable. Don’t miss this gem if you are in Central Florida.

The room was clean and comfortable. Bed was great and Jack was an excellent host. I'd stay there again in a minute.
