The lady at the front desk was very helpful and very friendly. The hotel rooms you can see have been somewhat updated, however the beds are hard as a rock, the continental breakfast was something that my dogs would turn down thank God for the diner across the street from the hotel. Excellent food and the staff was amazing, spoiler the owner's of the diner actually work at the diner and are amazing. So if you happen to stay here stop in and try them out. At least you have a good breakfast after a bad night of rest.

DO NOT GO TO LAKESHORE MARINA IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME/ENERGY/MONEY!!!! I’m not from okeechobee, so I had no idea the state of this hotel when I booked the place 2 months ago. I stayed for 4 days and it was hell. Do not let the pictures fool you, this is barely a waterfront property. The dock shown in pictures is private so the only view you get of the water is from the edge of the canal where gators hang, instead of a nice dock where you can view them safely. There was a cool viewing tower and that was the only positive experience I had here. My first sign that this place was going to be crap was when I walked in at 12pm and the front desk assistant wasn’t there with a sign posted saying “please wait, I’m assisting a customer” (which is very unlikely when it was only my car and the manager’

The staff is friendly, you dont get the idea that you are putting them out, YA'LL are great and the best part is I have no complaints and this hotel is pet friendly.

The staff at this location are very congenial and helpful. The hotel is old and tired but is clean and was comfortable. The breakfast leaves much to be desired but just across the street is the Ding A Ling deli that has a very good breakfast at reasonable prices. The hotel if updated would be very good because of its location on the lake.

Positive: The staff was the only thing that was right about this hotel, very pleasant and helpful. Negative: Besides the water pressure in the shower, it was all bad. Stained sheets, stained floors, everything in the room was outdated, no USB plug for the phone. The A/C wasn?t working right and the hallways stank of fish. Horrible experience, way overpriced.
