Customer Reviews
This property should not be considered a resort. It is not within walking distance of the village, and the hotel is built entirely on steep hills, including the parking areas, which poses challenges for guests with mobility issues. I stayed from Friday to Wednesday. The hotel is family-friendly, with a small swing set, a slide, a pool area, and a small sandy beach. The staff were consistently polite and accommodating, and the front desk associate on Saturday evening was especially helpful in assisting us with the trolley. Please note, however, the hotel is not an official trolley stop and requires flagging it down. The cost for four people in a “beachfront” room was over $1,800. The property promotes itself as a resort largely due to its poolside service, which offers a limited fast-food
The room we had a nice and clean. The balcony view was absolutely amazing. We are definitely looking forward to next year and I want the same room. We cooked out on the grills that were available.
This was a strange stay for me and my friends. I don't usually give bad reviews, but this time I simply couldn't do otherwise. The room looked nice and clean in the photos, but it was completely different in person. Upon entering, we were hit with a strange stench; we had to air it out. There was a large stain on the ceiling; it must have leaked beforehand. The floor was covered in sand, making it impossible to walk barefoot. The beds were old and scuffed. The bathroom was okay, except for the toilet, which was wobbling in all directions and not securely fastened. Everything was old and worn; it hadn't been maintained for a long time. The front desk staff and manager were very rude! This was our first stay at this resort and definitely our last!
The location is nice. There is a lovely pool and beach bar. The room we had was just ok. There were very Large spider like bugs, huge! We lost electricity for a few hours one very hot night and there is no ventilation, no windows to open etc.|There was also a fraudulent charge on our credit card shortly after our check in time, and that card was not used elsewhere in Lake George that day. There are no beach towels, the umbrellas are scarce. And, again those Bugs are Enormous!!
We stayed for a Labor Day weekend. The place is very filthy . The bathrooms have some mold in the bath tub , ceiling has stains from leaks, floor was very dirty, the headboard has dark spots on it . All towels were not clean. The balcony chairs were also dirty and some garbage left from previous guests. The rooms don’t look the same as pictures shown on websites. As soon we enter to the room, there were so many wasps in the room , they didn’t even sprayed them. Poor service management. I would not recommend this hotel and definitely my first and last time I was there.
