Lake View Inn Lake George

Booked a room here. Came to a empty parking lot with no one in the office. Learned that you have to enter a code. Looked for place to enter a code and did not find one. Looked all around property and found no one on sight. Went through booking.com.

This business looks out of business or closed. No one in the locked motel office, no guests, no cars in the lot. They charged me through booking.com but like I said: closed. I later found out that the owners email a code to enter your room. This place is unsafe to stay. When I first went to the motel, there was a homeless/mentally handicapped guy hanging out on the second floor balcony.

This place was a disaster! Attached are pictures of the room. First thing this is an electrical hazard! The place needs renovations big time! The ceilings are falling apart, the walls and floors need repairs, the bathroom door needs to be replaced, there is no toilet paper holder, no remote for the television, no place to hang clothes and much more! For $ 475 a night this was a rip off!!!! . I was totally scammed with the description of this place. I understand the cost of a place to stay closer to the car show is more expensive, but this totally unacceptable! I think I should receive at least a 50% refund.|Kathleen Wilson

Room was small but clean. Water pressure was low but for 95.00$ for a night .It was great ,college kids partied half the night in the parking lot . I sleep good and had a hot shower.

My wife and I were in Lake George for a couple of days and needed a dog-friendly hotel. There are several dog-friendly hotels in the area, but the devil is in the details, and many of them had limited availability or wanted $100 per night extra. We ended up stumbling across the Lake View Inn by chance and they were able to accommodate us for $70 per night with a $30 per night pet fee. We had the pleasure of interacting with Connor, one of the owners and he was great. It is a pretty standard motel setup, but the rooms are clean and up to date, the location is very convenient, and the price is unbeatable. The only criticism I have is the front desk and phone is not manned at all times (which is understandable given it's the off-season), but rest assured if there is an issue the owners will d
