Lake Sun Lodge & RV

This is a TINY place - narrow road and lots! We had extreme difficulty parking our 40' 5th wheel (folks had to move cars just just so we could get to our site and get turned around to back in). Even with our 5 years of full time parking experience, we couldnt get our RV in place, and had to let someone with 30 years of experience thread that needle!! I'm afraid to move it - no little side trips for us. FRIENDLY & HELPFUL neighbors. We were offered fresh-caught fish the first night. Good price for a long term stay - waterfront is worth the extra cost. There is a boat ramp and little piers.

This is a family owned Lodge & RV park where guests are treated very well. The owners put on lunches/dinners for the guest several times a year at the pavilion. Maintenence is done in a professional and timely manner. It is rare to have a utilities outage. Come to the Sunshine State and enjoy the great Bass fishing and the cool breeze from lake Okeechobee. Dock space for your boats are plentiful. And where Floridian hospitality is second to none. Best Regards, James

Very beautiful here people is so friendly Here. to get to lock to go in lake is not far coming back next year ,Lilly is the new owner she has own this place in two years. She has worked her tale off to keep it clean and everything running smooth 5 star to her

We could not find a place ,we come to this park Lilly help us we are like a family , I have met wonderful people and can not wait to next year when some return ,it was hard to leave home , but it’s nice when you find wonderful people that make it feel like home I love the park ❤️

1This was one of the worst campground and rv places I've stayed! A week before arriving I made sure that my boy "Mick" was ok to stay with us and there was no problem. However when we arrived we were told no pets allowed. When we looked around there were dogs everywhere! Also our place had no tv and it was filthy as hell. We had to spend money on cleaning supplies just to make sure we were able to sleep! Never Never Never Again! My dog was not even comfy and was ready to go home on the first night.
