Lake Pleasant Lodge

Lake Pleasant Lodge is a wonderful place to stay, The rooms are a good size, along with the bed being very comfortable, plus lots of pillows. The location is excellent! I don't get up to this area very often, but when I do, I always will book a room at this Lodge.

Perfect place for a day at the beach. Stayed in the Grand Lodge Suite. It was cozy and very clean. Living room area was quite roomy and had great views from the picture window. Hotel is lakeside and perfect for little ones to swim and play on sandy beach since the lake is very shallow. We sat around the fire pit in the evening. Staff was very helpful and hospitable. The only downside for us was on the second day no one came to take trash or refill coffee pods.

I've stayed at other places in Speculator, but Lake Pleasant Lodge is absolutely my favorite, and I am so glad I discovered it! The rooms are clean and so cutely decorated! You can tell that the owners and the manager/staff really care about the Lodge and the customers. The rooms have a personal touch, with little details like an adorable sound machine with a rustic feel. The hotel manager is one of the nicest people I have ever met... talking with her was one of the highlights of my stay! The Lodge is located right next to the public beach. You can rent boats (hope to do that next time!) and there's a really nice gazebo and a fire pit designed to keep anyone warm on a chilly night. Wow, this place was an absolute delight. The room was charming and very fitting for the Adirondacks. The bed was luxurious for an expecting mom, the mini split provided optimal comfort, the generous “mini” fridge was awesome for our meal planning. The location with stunning views of the lake and a stones throw from “The Perks Cafe” was the ultimate. Will absolutely come again. Thank you!

It was a great stop over for a night on our way North. Our room was very clean and Kim (?) was a great host. Love to come back in the summer.
