Lake Mittry

Beautiful place with beautiful views & sunsets. Unfortunately a lot of broken glass & cigarette butts all over our site. We are right next to the little dam. We also had numerous people walk in our site, fish 5 feet from our coach or walk all the way through the site and fish right next to our chairs & firepit!! This is beyond rude. This is a large lake with plenty of places to fish from so your not bothering others. It rained real bad the day before we came so many areas of dirt road were flooded & inpassable. So check weather ahead of time.

Great place to go and unwind. It is relaxing with awesome views and a calm atmosphere

Love the area, saw some type of goat or ram. Camped in the area too. Nice private spot, great star gazing.

Clean and beautiful! 2 huge garbage bins and a few vault toilets. Great spot for camping, bird watching and fishing. People will park right up on your butt though. So privacy is challenging. Lots of inconsiderate ATV riders going super fast down the road often which gets annoying. Overall a wonderful place though.

Nice free camping spot with a lake. Took the travel trailer and didn't have our fresh water tank filled and didn't know where to dump our black tank. We found laguna mobile home and rv park for fresh water and dump station only 10 mins away from the east side of the free camp entrance i believe.
