Lake Lucile Park Campground

Located in a wooded area surrounded by development; has paths to a nice lake with big docks. Decent sized RV park with tent and RV parking. Power at some sites and spigot by a pump house where you can fill your water tank. No RV dump. Don’t take Riley Ave: rough gravel road - take Endeavor instead - paved all the way and easier to see the park sign. Credit card only electronic self pay by camp host. Sites aren’t on top of each other and are decently sized - all have picnic tables. Pit toilets were quite dirty. Nice camp hosts.

Hidden gem. All sites are first come first serve. Fee machine is located at the entrance by the camp host site. Sites without electricity are $20 and with electricity are $40. All sites are suitable for tent or RVs.

This is the perfect campground just far enough out of town to feel like getting away. $20 for a non-electric site. The grounds are well-maintained and quiet. You are close to the lake and some trails. Worth the 2 mile trip out of town!

Beautiful lake I haven't been to in years. It's calm and relaxing to sit and listen to the birds in the trees. I had been watching the squirrels running around the trees playing. It was 15 years since I've been there and it looks much more clean now.

Great in town camping area. This year's camp host and hostesses are extremely nice. Plenty of free firewood this year. However... The city park police Officer Charlie is harassing everyone. Is extremely badge happy. Know your rights and park rules. Cause he tries to twist them around.. 😡
