Alaska Cozy Cabins

A cozy cabins indeed. A bit chilly upon checking in but turning up the thermostat quickly fixed that.||As the only one having early morning coffee I wished there was a Kuerig machine. It's hard to make coffee for one with a regular drip. The coffee provided was an espresso brand so be prepared for strong coffee. I recommend bringing some powdered or liquid creamer depending upon the length of stay as there was none provided and only 2 packs of sugar, no tea.||We didn't use the fire pit but other clearly enjoyed the pleasure.||The bed was comfortable but basic top sheet and bedspread only. As mentioned it was chilly when we arrived late so our room was the last to heat up. Fantastic stay with Cozy Cabins. Definitely recommend! First visit to AK (late June family of 4) and didn’t really know what to expect so we shopped for cheap ish options and prayed for the best. Cabin 5 was a win. Clean, comfortable, below average cost for the area and accommodation, quiet, great shower! My daughter wanted to stay another night she thought it was so cute 😊. Smooth check in / out. If I had to give feedback it would be to add more light to the shower, It was a little dark and if you could offer a washer/dryer in a shared common area that would be a big bonus touch- laundry mats are a pain. Neither of these are big deals, wonderful stay.

I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone or return my calls. I had some questions before I booked because I didn't want to book a cabin and then have to cancel and lose money. I never did get a call back even though the recording says they will.

It was OK. Definitely not great. I have to say that the cabin itself is pretty nice. With some attention to detail and some added security measures, it could be a comfortable place for guests. Our first impression was not good. The road to the cabins is not well maintained. I know it has been a very rainy summer in Alaska and that makes it hard to do road maintenance. But they could make more of an effort - bring in some gravel and fill some holes at least. They never sent me check-in instructions or any information at all. We didn't even know which cabin we were in. I had to call the owners to find out. But they were quick to reply and sent us all the info right away. These cabins are absolutely cute they are roomy and clean! This was our first ever trip to Alaska and these cabins did not disappoint. From this point on when my family and I come to Alaska this will be our go to place as long as they have an opening. They quiet and you have all the privacy in the world I can't say enough good things about this place. Management is nice and professional thanks Kozey Cabins for a great mini vacation.
