Best Western Lake Lucille Inn

We ended up not renting the room due to a circumstance change, HOWEVER, the front desk fellow, Curtis, was an absolute gem... friendly, helpful, informative, understanding. His excellent service made us sorry we had to change our plans. Carry on, Curtis. Well done!

Very friendly people at check-in, room is clean, parking is plentiful, view to the lake is amazing. Convenient drinks and snacks to buy. Two small downsides: people smoking weed somewhere (it smelled the whole evening) and the free breakfast is very passable — food is a bit old, including even the tangerines (they were soft). Overall, I'd stay again anyway.

Great location with a beautiful view of the lake, but a weird experience. Upon checking in there was a little kid behind the front desk with his mom who was checking me in, which I thought was sweet, given kids are on break, but the kiddo kept showing me his different number of cubes while his mom seemed flustered by my check-in. While waiting I noted the lobby sitting area had not been cleaned. Then, later I saw this same woman behind the desk with her hood up like she was either trying to sleep or watch her phone while the cups of coffee from the morning were still out (it was 5pm). After I had my dinner in the restaurant she was still behind the desk with her head down and the cups still out, so I mentioned them to the more professional looking guy. It just hit me wrong that no one was

Friendly customer service checkin, good location next to lake and able see sunrise/ sunset and Aurora light. Only suggestion is the sliding screen door is unlockable, feel a bit unsafe in middle of night have slide screen open for fresh air in bed sleep if stay at ground level balcony room.

We loved our stay at this Inn. The lake and the views were beautiful. We only regret we didn't have a view facing the lake. But it's open for guests to spend time on the lake. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. There are lots of good restaurants within a short drive. The breakfast was pretty typical of a free hotel breakfast. We loved the location so much, we hope to stay there again.
