Lake Jasper RV Park

My husband and I stayed there in our travel trailer for a week before traveling to our next stop in Florida. We were very pleased with the RV park. It was clean, neat, and the staff was nice and helpful. I definitely felt safe there, and enjoyed the walking trails. The only downside was that corporate decided to have the laundry room and bath house painted on MLK day, (which I thought was an odd time to do that considering it was a long holiday weekend) so I couldn't do my laundry before leaving. That does not reflect the way I feel about the RV park and would definitely stay there again.

As with all of my reviews I will give you the Pros, the Cons and a Summary. ||First the pros...|This makes for a nice stop almost dead center between Central Florida and Myrtle Beach. |There is a beautiful lake and a nice park. |There is a dog park. |Sites were large and easy to get into and out of. |Staff members were all friendly and welcoming. ||Cons:|The pool was like warm - bordering on hot. Perhaps a circulating pump to cool it? It was nice having a pool after a long day on the road but it was like bath water. |There were some really odd rules. Like everyone riding a bike must wear a helmet. But they must have been selectively enforced because we saw kids all over the place on skateboards, scooters and bikes not wearing them. We stayed three nights, early November. Sites were all super clean, well spaced, level, and easy to access. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked open and clean. The laundry and restroom facilities were very clean and heated, which is a nice feature when it’s a little chilly. We arrived late, easily found our welcome packet neatly set by the entrance with all the information we needed. Great location next to Lake Jasper and Sergeant Jasper Park with walking trails, fishing ponds, a playground, disc golf, etc. Easy access to Savannah Ga, and Hilton Head SC. Would definitely stay here again.

Lake Jasper is one of our favorite campgrounds. We have stayed there seversl times on our way to the Florida Keys and love it for both the lovely quiet campground right on the lake and the convenience to I-95. We need to come back for a longer stay at this lovely campground.

Outstanding campground. Perfectly placed for me as I have family in the area. All the sites are near and clean and level. And I think it is very reasonably priced. Pool. Power and water at sites. There are many seasonal campers here it seems when I am here fall and spring. And I have been here in the summer as well.. But they always have space for me when I come during week. Always have felt well treated and staff is always friendly. Bathrooms nice and clean. Never used the pool but it looks nice. And overall campground is very well kept. Keep up great work!
