Lake Dewberry RV Resort

Thanksgiving evening and they answered the phone!! Most places were closed which I totally understand but dewberry lake Rv park went above and beyond she helped do all the booking so I didn’t have to go online. It’s a beautiful clean park with cute cabins . Showers, laundry, and bathrooms avail. We were just passing through but we use this route twice a year so I’ll be recommending to our friends! Thank you!

We had the pleasure of staying three nights at Lake Dewberry RV Resort this week. It's a relatively new resort with a few works still in progress, but they didn't affect our stay. The owner, Nita, checked us in, told us about the resort, and answered all of our tourism questions. The Maintenance Man (apologies for forgetting his name) was very nice and helpful, sharing more info about amenities. All roads are concrete and all spots are full hook-up pull through, nice level concrete. The Clubhouse is large and very clean, with two full kitchens we were offered to use. The bathhouse has five private bathrooms with showers, one of which is ADA. Really nice if you want to stretch your arms while showering. Located on the North side of Victoria, Lake Dewberry RV Resort was developed in early 2024 and is family owned and operated. Each of the 214 RV sites are pull thru, 20/30/50 amp, have city water connections, have concrete pads with side grass, are all the same size, and all face the same Northerly direction with full sun. No fire pits or picnic tables at sites. The area got quite windy during our stay and was pretty dry, so we completely understood not having open fires. They have adorable, colorful cottages and were in the process of building more during our stay. We would like to start by giving the reader some insight on our camping experience. We have been camping for approximately 30 years. We have camped in tents, travel trailers and now fifth wheels. Pros: The owners are very nice people. The RV Park is very close to much of the shopping in Victoria, TX. The laundry room is large and is free to the campers. The laundry room contains 12 washers and 12 dryers. The bathrooms were clean and roomy. This campground has minimal road noise from the nearby highway. Cons: The entrance into the RV park can only be made from one direction. If there are any parked cars at the office area, it could be difficult to maneuver over a culvert in which you could possibly bottom out your RV (we have witnessed a Class A bottom out on the way into the RV

Only issues I had was the huge amount of ants all over the grass area which led to bites on me. Some lighting would be nice at night. As a domestic violence victim the pitch black is a disaster for crime waiting to happen. Even if lighting was around the outer driving area dog park playground the main important areas
