Lake Crest Inn

We recently stayed at Lake Crest Inn and overall had a pleasant experience. The place was clean, but there was a strong odor, possibly coming from the carpets. However, the front desk staff was very friendly and provided us with great recommendations as soon as we arrived. One of the highlights was the conveniently located café on-site that offered delicious breakfasts. We also appreciated the option to rent kayaks and paddle boards right there, which made our stay even more enjoyable. While the access to the beach is a bit small, we still had a great time enjoying the lake. The inn is situated in the heart of everything, so it was easy to walk to nearby attractions. We would definitely consider staying here again!

We stayed in the king waterfront room L3. It was definitely worth the extra money. Beautiful private balcony right over the water. Staff was great. Bed was comfy. Room very clean. Would recommend this to anyone!!

If you enjoy ticks, spiders, smelly brown and blood stained pillow cases, moldy shower curtains, dirty socks on the floor that aren't yours, no amenities (no microwave or housekeeping services), compact room and mini fridges smaller than your cooler, then this is the place for you. If I were you, I'd skip this dirty place and for the price, stay at a resort. I have pictures. My husband asked about why we were charged for a courtyard room and the young man told him that we were in the courtyard area even though we saw only 2 or 3 rooms that faced the road. He was rude. We decided upon killing the insects ourselves because what would they do, probably nothing. We and spent as little time as possible at this place. We bought our own pillows and cases but we're absolutely disgusted abo

We started going to Lake Crest Inn about 20 years ago because of the ease of walking downtown. We park the car and walk to everything we need. We have been going every year. My adult kids come along with our grandkids and we make our own family reunion. It is a great place that is always making improvements and the staff is fantastic. We can not wait till next year. I highly recommend it.

Rooms are cozy and clean. Have a country cabin feel to them, my family and I liked the rooms. Location is excellent as you are on the edge of town, and easy walking to all. Parking is an issue when this hotel is full. It's tight and cramped. Luckily for us it wasn't crowded this week. There is no housekeeping. They do not come in and clean your room, or make your beds. All towels are to be left outside, and they leave you new ones in a bag. The funny thing is they leave you an envelope in the room for tips. Lol The Beach they claim to have is no more then a 10 x 15' area. The shoreline and water is disgusting!!!! Every other hotel around them was well kept and clean. Now for the last part.....any child under 18 cannot use the pool without adult supervision....not by one....but by TWO
