Lake City Lodge

We stayed in Cabin 4 and Cabin 7. Cabin 4 was a retro dream! Fully updated and comfortable with plenty of fans and heaters and space for my family of three. It was magical watching deer behind our Cabin. We requested for an additional night and the owners accommodated us with Cabin 7. 7 was much different with a rustic feel with wood paneling. Felt like I was a kid again going back in time. also had plenty of fans and heaters and super clean as well! And there was deer behind this one as well. Photos are of 7. 4 is as pictured on there site. Can't wait to go back to lake city! FYI, the cabins kitchens are fully functional, we cooked, stored food, etc. The family that runs this place are great, charming, and just awesome people!

Melissa is so thoughtful and helpful and made our first visit to Lake City amazing. She gave us recommendations on where to eat and hike. Plus the room was clean, quiet and very spacious. We plan to go again!

Cute spot. Very friendly staff. Pet friendly. Authentic experience with cabin rooms—The entire floor slanted sideways in the bathroom, which I thought was charming! Convenient to town. Would book again. Only change I would make is update the pots and pans in kitchenette because they were pretty beaten up and didn’t feel safe to use.

We have been going to Lake City, CO since we were kids. Such an amazing little city tucked away in the mountains. It’s beautiful, friendly, and adventurous. We have stayed at the Lake City Lodge for 5 years in a row ! We really love the new owners. They are in a perfect location. A quick walk into town and they have the perfect view of the mountains. I love sitting on the porch while drinking coffee. You are sure to see some deer and other cute wildlife. The cabins are clean and a perfect place to stay in the mountains. They are reasonably priced and the owners will check on you everyday. It’s kid friendly and the perfect spot to light a fire and have s’mores at night! We will continue to visit Lake City and stay here! Bonus, they recently fully renovated cabin #4 and it’s beautiful! New f

Not much to be said about this place that other reviewers have already said. I did have a little misunderstanding about the length of my stay, but Melissa took care of it right away. The room was clean and quiet and was just what I needed. Can't beat the location!
