It's a truly amazing place. I haven't seen such good accommodation in NYC for a similar price. Very close to the subway station at 125th Street. At this price, it's hard to find a capsule hostel in the Central Park area, let alone a private room. The facility has specific rules, but they are there to make everyone feel comfortable and allow them to relax after a day in this noisy city. According to my plan, I was supposed to be at the facility at midnight, but in the end, my flight was delayed and I didn't check in until 2 a.m. The owner acted as if it was my fault, but I don't hold it against her because it was the middle of the night and we all wanted to sleep. Just finishing a very pleasant 5 night stay. A great find with welcoming host/owner. Extremely clean comfortable with kitchen use fully equipped . Quiet very safe location with all the shops needed and minutes from the trains giving easy access to all of Manhattan and airports. Would return again when next in NY. One thing I must say is the price is unbeatable. Recommended.

This is the best hostel I've ever been. The neighborhood is really safe and convenient. You have everything you need nearby and a lot of metros. Room and bathroom are clean and neat. The owner is really friendly and helpful. We had good nights sleep cause it's quiet and bed is comfy ! Big plus : coffee for free and the house is much more pretty than on the pictures ✨️

Had a bad experience right at the door, the owner was rude, I was not able to booke a room online so I decided to go in person hoping that she have any available, but instead she literally screamed at me “you didn’t book a room” then went back inside her house. It’s almost she automatically reacted because I was black, now it’s makes sense, all the good reviews are written by white peoples and probably tourists, people that don’t leave in New York, so I decided to go at the loft hotel, it’s a shame when people like this business owner could still have a business that runs under false promises. I won’t recommend anyone at this hotel.
