La Quinta Inns & Suites by Wyndham Orem University Pwy/Provo

What a very nice , clean and quiet place to stay! I was welcomed by a very friendly and patient clerk. Our room was lovely. The bed was so comfortable. The room was so roomy and welcoming. The only 2 oops was the shower albeit very nice sized, the water pressure was very low. And the TV was nice but I had a challenge figuring out how to get it to the right source to work. And everything we shut it off it would say no source contact your provider. Anyway I figured it out so no biggie. We will definitely stay there again!

Location convenient to the freeway, but on a busy street that was difficult to return to after finding a local restaurant. The atmosphere was clean and quiet. The value was good. Parts of the room (bathroom doorknobs) weren't clean, but the rest of the room was clean. The breakfast was very lackluster - no whole grain breads, muffins, or cereal, no fruit except unappealing "Delicious" apples. The hot breakfast was basic hotel sausages, big glob of scrabbled eggs, and a fresh waffle station. Very underwhelming food choices||There was a lovely view of Utah Lake from the room. This was a one bedroom suite, so there was plenty of room. The bed was comfortable. We traveled with a cat; they should make a broom and extra trash bags available to travelers with pets to make clean up easier.

Took our grandkids on a staycation to this hotel near our homes so we can go swimming in a heated pool and a great breakfast spread for them to choose from in which they get to make their own waffles with our help. We also got to walk around “exploring” at all the stores and restaurants all around us. We got a studio and they liked we each had our own TV. It was a great stay with a great breakfast and a big warm swimming pool when it was chilly outside and needed a thick jacket out to be comfortable.

Positive: The staff were very helpful and kind. The breakfast was great: waffles, scrambled eggs, sausages, yogurt, fruit, hot and cold cereal, juices. The fridge / freezer was excellent and re-froze our blue ice overnight. The A/C was excellent for cooling. Negative: No.

The room was fantastic. My wife and I had plenty of space for us and in the living room there was a sofa bed! Two televisions were perfect for our family. Microwave, coffee maker and breakfast include. Clean indoor swimming pool with hot tube. Excellent cost benefit! Definitely will come back!
