La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Vicksburg

The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, something hard to find these days. ||Staff was super nice and helpful.||Several places to eat nearby.||The biggest problem was that the elevator was inoperative.

😊: Breakfast was great!. 😢: Staff was so busy talking to friend at check in I was not acknowledged nor did she get the keys to.our room correct. Had to go back down to desk to have them redone.

The room was clean and organized. The only drawback was several pieces of furniture had been poorly or cheaply repaired and excessive wear to several surfaces especially the vinyl surfaces that were starting to lift and flake. Carpet was bunched in several places. The room was a good a value for the price. Hotel just needs updated and refurbished.

Horrible experience, 1st room key they gave me didn’t work so I got another and tried. It didn’t work so my husband went to get another key. While he was getting the 3rd set of keys a man answered the door half asleep. So I had keys for another man’s room but thank god he had the deadbolt locked. They sent us to another room and it smelled so bad. But the condition of the entire hotel was poor. Woke up in the morning there was a roach crawling on the mirror. Packed up took the bags to the truck and went to get coffee and my husband noticed roaches crawling around the cabinets in the breakfast area. This place needs a total overhaul and retraining. What if I would have walked in on that other man in HIS room! Seriously people!

Let's begin. First the room smells bad. The chairs in the rooms are dirty. They would change out the chair. So we asked to change rooms. We did go to a new room, but then there were a string of other things that were terrible about this location. To top it off they charged us for changing rooms. Until there are renovations and much better management, do not stay here.
