La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Thousand Oaks-Newbury Park

Even though this property is still under renovation, the courtyard and rooms are beautiful. The guest rooms are all brand new and very comfortable. I love the huge tv. I will have to stay again because of love to see how the lobby and breakfast area turn out. Very nice

It was very good until roughly about 6am when unbelievable noise from workmen.  I understand that they want to crack on refurbishing the rooms but this loud noise went on until about 8am.  I’m sure there were other rooms available where we could have been put when we checked in - we were literally next to all this noise.

I cannot express enough gratitude to the Front Desk staff. I’ve stayed here a few times and am always met with warmth and understanding. Deloitte is an Angel. She assisted me with a delicate matter displaying the utmost care, dignity and discretion. She is a true professional and cares about the guest experience. She is knowledgeable and capable should any problems arise. Don’t be shy to let her fix an issue. The hotel is under construction so please be mindful. But this is an excellent choice for the price. It is a safe and clean hotel.

La Quinta by Wyndham in Newberry Park was under construction and our room had been renovated so new flooring, new nice shower and furniture. Linens (bedding and towels)were newer and clean. We got in later in the evening and had trouble finding the office that was tucked around a corner until renovations are done but staff was helpful and friendly and apologetic for breakfast being temporarily suspended. We would stay there again and hope they keep it updated.

I arrived yesterday (12/16/25) at around 7:40pm for check-in and the front desk staff Orlando (or so he said his name was this) was asleep, please check the front desk camera, we had to wait like 15mins for him to wake up and other customers waited too, Orlando was rude and didn’t want to give me the upgrade I had ordered ahead of time when I did the early check-in online on 12/15/2025 and I got an email approved for this upgrade on the day before arrival on 12/15/2025. Orlando even threatened to cancel my stay and said “if it’s that serious I can cancel your stay”. And we were being super nice and polite the whole time, we were even calm since we knew he just woke up from sleeping. Please take some action against him, I love this hotel and have stayed here before and I don’t want this to
