Americas Best Value Inn Thousand Oaks

We had a problem with a reservation and The person at the front counter named JAI Took very good care of it as the reservation was made to a service called Agoda. He took the time to investigate the situation and was able to resolve the issue without any problems after confirming details about the reservation in the room that was involved.

Amazing hotel! My experience with Americas Best Value Inn in Newbury Park was awesome! Staff took well care of me with a clean room after every Housekeeping Service! Clean towels and comfy bed and pillows! Cleanliness 5 STAR! Big parking lot and free WiFi! I will come back to this hotel anytime I need to..Manager is a great caring person! Your stay in ABVI will be a great experience as mine!

I couldn't believe the condition of the room here. There were burn marks on the nightstand,blanket and bedspread. The smoke alarm had been removed and sat under the leaky sink in a puddle of water. There was no telephone in the room, and you had to use your own mobile Hotspot to connect to the TV if you wanted to watch anything. The housekeeping staff were very accommodating but I wouldn't recommend this hotel to an enemy. Truly I am amazed that they are in business. Also, the Ventura County sheriff were frequent visitors to the hotel. The surrounding area was very nice, but this place was creepy.

Room bare - no bedside lamps or clock, no convenient electrical outlets, no charging ports, no place to hang anything, no towel bars, not even a hook on the back of the bathroom door, no shelf for soap or anything in shower, shower curtain did not reach floor so water soaked floor outside of shower, no kleenex available, dirty refrigerator/freezer, graffiti on wall, no emergency procedures listed inside exterior room door, blanket only covered bottom half of bed, numerous holes in bedspread, numerous police cars arresting someone outside rooms upon our check-in and several police cars again noted the next day when we returned to our room. Had to ask for clean towels daily. No notepad, pen - nothing - in any drawers... "continental breakfast" consisted of coffee only - no juice or food a
