La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Terre Haute

This is a very clean and nice hotel. It is well maintained and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Everything has always been really clean , including the pool and gym area which gets overlooked a lot at hotels. The only thing I've noticed the last few times I've stayed here is dust in some areas of the room- like up a wall and the nightstands. The rest of the room is very clean so Im thinking these are little things that can get overlooked. The second thing is the elevator. There are 2 but only one is working. Each time I stay the other elevator has never been fixed. Its ok if the hotel isnt crowded but sometimes they have large groups for sports and then you can wait a long time for an elevator. We only stayed one night; but, everything was perfect! We had a room with a King sized bed that was unbelievably comfortable. The entire hotel was extremely clean and the staff is very polite. I would most certainly recommend this hotel to anyone interested.

Nice clean hotel just off the highway with easy check in and pet friendly. It was really a great choice for us after a long day on the road. I would stay here again. The room was a bit hot and dry but the temp was adjustable so we quickly fixed that.

Upon arriving for my one-night stay here, I found the lobby empty. A bell sat on the desk, and after I rang it, a young lady appeared and checked me in to Room 418. Mom and I hauled our belongings upstairs and returned the luggage cart. I immediately checked the security of the room and noticed that the deadbolt would not engage while the door was closed. It worked fine with the door open. A call to the front desk revealed that there were NO MAINTENANCE TECHS on site, nor would there be "until they were called." The young lady at the front desk informed us that only she and a few housekeepers were scheduled for the day. She offered to reassign us to another room on the fourth floor, and bring us the keys. Upon waiting for her in the hallway, we noticed that the door to Room 418 didn't lock
