Comfort Suites Terre Haute University Area

Rooms were nicely updated. Desk staff was friendly and helpful. Had an issue with another guest being loud around 2:30a and staff addressed. Bathrooms could use some updating as well. Weak water pressure. Pool was definitely not heated and very cold even though indoor. (I did not mention that to staff at the time, kids still enjoyed.) Breakfast had a good selection and staff kept filling to make sure everyone had some. Overall good, comfortable stay.

The woman working the overnight was absolutely amazing. I had a terrible experience at a nearby hotel that I'm still fighting to get reimbursed because we couldn't stay there. She was so understanding and helped me get a good rate. She checked in on myself and my children, even asking the morning staff to make sure there was a good breakfast was there for the kids in the morning. Really just went above and beyond during what ended up being a very stressful time. Please give her a raise. I have stayed at many a comfort suites across the country and she, by far, made it an amazing and easy experience.

No clean towels or room service unless you ask! Run down..beds make LOUD noises..repairs made with scotch tape! Didnt keep up on refilling breakfast area! This is a Comfort Inn I don't want to stay in again! Disappointed!!!

From the moment we arrived, the front desk lady was not welcoming at all. Yes, we have three children with us, but our kids have been nothing but respectful this entire stay. We haven’t had a single noise complaint, and honestly we’re gone during the day — by the time we get back, the kids are already asleep. Despite that, it feels like just having children is the reason she’s so unhappy with us. She has literally followed us from the desk to our room, and from our room to our car, which made all of us uncomfortable. We misplaced a key at one point, and instead of simply replacing it, she asked us “when are you leaving?” with a clear attitude. We stayed here Thanksgiving week. The room was clean and comfortable. Our only complaint was that the bed is on some sort of steel base. You invariably hit the base with your foot and it sounds like someone closing the lid on a Dumpster. They have a small convenience-type store at the desk. There is a variety of snacks and drinks and they seem to be reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Gothami. She had an answer for all of my questions. She also has a great sense of humor and is a pleasure to talk to. We will stay here whenever we visit Terre Haute.
