Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Terre Haute

We had a room on floor level. They placed a loud family above us.... didnt get much rest. And there breakfast was mediocre at best...... the waffles were sour........why is that???? Prolly bad

the room was mostly clean, but there was obviously areas that hadn’t been cleaned. the tub was too dirty for me to bath in. i was disappointed. the front desk was not staffed every time i went to it. i had to wait to check in, and no one came to check me out. i had to leave the key at the desk and hope no one came behind me and trashed the room. the breakfast was disappointing since we went to another hotel in the chain (fairfield in Loveland CO) it had an amazing breakfast, so we chose to go here hoping for a similar experience and were very disappointed. everything that made that hotel good wasn’t at this one.

Carol at the front desk was extremely accommodating, and one of the sweetest people I have ever met! She went over the top to help me, but also was great to just have a conversation with as well.

We booked the entire weekend for my son's 7th birthday so he could swim. They failed to mention yea the pool is open but the heater is broken so it was like jumping in the Wabash river. Completely ruined my son's birthday. Not to mention it looked dirty and window frames/ door frames into the pool were completely rusted.

Very nice, friendly staff, very clean, perfect location and quiet. I will definitely stay here again. I like the off-road location, yet it's close enough to the main road to not get lost.
