Holiday Inn Terre Haute by IHG

Was very happy to stay at the Terre Haute Holiday Inn. Our family really needed a place to stay for the night due to some unfortunate, unexpected events that occurred at our home, making us need a place to stay. Thankful to my friend Alex our service deck hostess to help us get booked comfortably with our family of 5. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, nice complimentary sized toiletry products. The rooms were easy to adjust temperatures to our likings. The pool was a hit for the kiddos! The breakfast was pefect, lots ofs options for every picky eater! She really went above and beyond for our family! I highly recommend staying here!

I recently stayed at a Holiday Inn this weekend and unfortunately left very disappointed with the experience. The first issue was the cleanliness of the hotel. The property clearly needs better upkeep, and several areas did not feel properly maintained. When you stay with a well-known brand, you expect a certain standard, and this location simply did not meet it. Another major frustration was the amenities being inaccurately advertised. The hotel listing stated there was a hot tub available, which was one of the reasons I chose this property in the first place. After arriving, I found out there wasn’t a hot tub at all. This hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were pretty friendly overall. The rooms were clean and the beds were nice. Breakfast was good and had a variety of choices, including hot foods, cereal, fruit, and baked goods. The layout of the hotel was nice. I especially liked how the pool was open and not in some closed in room like most hotels. We were also able to enjoy 10% off our dinner at the restaurant connected to the hotel because we were hotel guests.||||The issues: While I did enjoy the open layout of the pool area, the hot tub was broken, and my two daughters and several children of families we were with broke out in a painful rash. At first I thought it was an allergic reaction, but the rash is very painful and Benadryl didn’t help, so I believe this is a chlorine burn! Why ar

This hotel is convenient, helpful, comfortable, and has many amenities that surrounding hotels don't have. There is an attached restaurant with a bar. Pool area is larger than normal - and plenty of seating. Pool is clean -but hot tub is dingy - not sure if bottom is just stained or dirty. Water was clean, however. Kids loved the pool area. As a person with mobility issues, the pool was great to enter - but was rather chilly. Hot tub is great - but steps are very steep. Thankfully, I could navigate them but there is also a chair lift for those with mobility challenges. I am an IHG Rewards Club Member - but was saddened that there wasn't any mention, etc. Hampton normally gives water bottles to their rewards guests along with a gift bag of snacks or something as a "thank you". So many great things about this hotel. The pool was fantastic for kids of all ages and the breakfast was exceptional. The highlight of our stay was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was so friendly and accommodating. We had a total of three families on our trip and everyone agreed this hotel was outstanding. We will be back!
