La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham San Diego Mission Bay

Great hotel. They keep it really clean. It’s conveniently located next to the freeway. But it’s not easy access to Mission Bay. It takes longer than you think. You do hear the freeway a bit. But for the price, I’m definitely not gonna complain. It was a great place to stay.

This hotel is good; the beds are comfortable, the shower is good, and the place is safe. The breakfast is simple but reasonable. The only thing that isn't satisfactory is the cleanliness, which leaves a bit to be desired. My room wasn't cleaned one day because the maids didn't arrive until 3 PM, and when we returned, the towels hadn't been changed and the beds were unmade. I had to ask for them to clean my room the next day, when I realized the same thing would happen, as the cleaning schedule isn't ideal.

Honestly I was skeptical at first, but it was a really great choice. We will be returning, if we are ever in the area again. You can smell the fabuloso and cleanliness when you walk into the lobby. Always saw them working hard and keeping everything clean. If you are looking for a place to just sleep and shower while you explore, this is it. Parking is also FREE. Covered little parking garage connected to the building. The staff was kind and very helpful as well. There was not a time I felt unsafe here. It’s also a short drive to Crystal Pier/Mission beach! Many shops and food places down the street. Will be returning.

I was here for a softball tournament at Hickman Field. The place was ok. The front desk personnel were helpful. The room and beds were clean and iverall good. The only bad thing was the shower. There was a big chunk of the tub that was rusted and there was a little mold on the caulk surrounding the tub. Breakfast was decent. No waffle maker, but decent spread to hold you over til lunch.
