La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ruidoso Downs

I traveled three hours to this hotel with my children. After checking in, I inspected the bedding and found that the mattress covers and sheets were severely urine-stained, with stains reaching the mattress itself. I reported this immediately and was told my options were to receive a refund and go elsewhere or accept a discount. Due to limited local hotel availability, I was forced to stay and sleep in these conditions with my children. Instead of properly resolving the issue, staff simply placed clean mattress covers over the urine-soaked mattress. I booked this room for one night at nearly $200 and was only given about $50 off. I also have photos documenting the condition of the bed. Good customer service would have been providing a free night or a full refund. Instead, I was ripped off

If your boss doesn't put you up at La Quinta it means he hates you and you should probably quit. Lady working the front, Nelly, is super nice. Shower works. That's 5 stars in my book.

Experience here was great i’d recommend to anybody looking for a budget place to stay. Rooms were clean for the most part , just the bathroom wasn’t the cleanest there was a couple hairs and most outlets in the room didn’t have covers so just be aware if you got kids. other than that great location off of US70

This hotel is currently under renovation, but the areas that we access were in good shape. The breakfast was hot and fresh every day with good choices. The front desk staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. We had a renovated room and it was very nice. They have undergone some natural disasters in the past few months to years so the updates Are definitely needed. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and it is reasonably priced.

Positive: Nice breakfast. Attractive room. Nice very warm indoor pool. Negative: Room smelled like a Pilot Truck Stop bathroom.?strong deodorant used to cover up nasty sewer odor emanating from the sink, mostly when water is running.
