La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Pontoon Beach

Very nice, hidden Gem| I have family and friends around so have stayed in a handful of hotels in the area, and this time I tried LaQuinta in Pontoon Beach hotel. It is upgraded and in good shape. Clean and comfortable. Hotel offers complimentary meeting room for birthdays, get togethers.|| I was really satisfied with the room. This hotel is done up recently, so everything seems new and in working order. Breakfast included buffets with diverse hot and cold items, fresh local produce, made-to-order stations (like waffles), specialty breads, muffins, meats, and unique beverages. We have decided that this is a better option for our future stays.

Breakfast was great. The room was quiet and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Staff was very pleasant and attentive.

It was ok, I’d probably go back but the room was dirty with spilled coffee or something not wiped off the floor and a knot of someone’s hair on the bed, articles from a previous guest there and no hangers to hang the coats. The breakfast was great though.

This was a Budget hotel, so the price was right! The only few quibbles we had is that the Wi-Fi would not connect, and our T-Mobile cellular service was bad there. Also, they had a fancy coffee machine, which was out of order all three days we stayed. They also had a popcorn machine downstairs, but we never saw any popcorn in it.|Fairly central location, but not much immediately around. It is adjacent to a police station; we felt very safe!

Very spacious room. It was clean. The remote for the TV did not work for the TV and the 2nd TV did not have a remote. That was not too much of an issue though since we were going to sleep.
