La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ocala

I had an absolutely wonderful experience during my stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff (Especially Rebecca) were warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully maintained even though they are in construction.|The highlight of my stay was definitely the buffet. The variety was incredible from fresh fruits and salads. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Overall the hotel atmosphere made the entire experience even better. Whether it was breakfast, the service was quick, and the staff ensured we had everything we needed.|I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, great food, and exceptional hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Positive: Location Negative: It's winter time and they didn't have hot water and they knew about it and gave no warning prior to giving the room key. That was torture.

Our stay was truly made by Tami at the front desk. I hope the hotel knows what a gem they have. Even while juggling a very busy lobby, she was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive—not just to us, but to everyone we saw her interact with. She went above and beyond the entire time. When our TV wasn’t working, she immediately sent someone up, Brett, and he was just as kind. Turns out the issue was on my end, not the hotel’s, and he handled it with total patience! He also kept the Breakfast Buffet fully stocked and clean while I was there. Breakfast was delicious with tons of choices. Beyond the big continental spread, they had eggs, sausage links and patties, waffle maker, plus a pancake‑maker machine that works with the press of a button. I want one at home. Very frustrating stay. The room had someone's dirty clothes on the closet floor. Desk was sticky. The light over the bathroom sink didn't work. No trash can in bathroom, no bags for the ice bucket, no cups for coffee. Refrigerator barely stayed cold. The room setup was inconvenient, the TV was parallel to the bed. The person on the the other side of the bed couldn't see it. Also no basic NBC to watch football playoffs. Very limited channels. We needed to do laundry. What a nightmare. The front desk didn't have quarters to buy so we were forced to download the app. The app requires $10 minimum. The dryer didn't dry anything after an hour, so we started it again for another hour. If I could leave this hotel, a zero star, I would by far one of the worst hotels ever I have seen!! I did not even stay there. I checked and saw my room. Did a little look around and left the guy at the front desk but not give me a refund or anything I will be calling the health department. I will be calling the state of Florida. I also will be calling the corporate office for Wyndham hotels. there is mold in this place we rented the suite the couch looks like it’s been done in. Stained walls nasty toilet stained everywhere. AC thermostat doesn’t work. TV doesn’t work only one elevator working, which is against federal law. I figured one out let me mop the floor with a white towel from the bathroom. This is how disgusting the floors were!!!
