La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham New Braunfels

Stayed 2-12-26 in rm 129. $112 as a diamond member. Clean. No bugs. Pretty quiet. Good mattress. 2tvs. AC worked alright. WiFi was good. But when I got in, I asked if I could get the private bdrm as my upgrade and the lady said it was a tier level upgrade. Not as cool. When getting my receipt, the front desk said I should’ve or could’ve gotten that upgrade. And then I get my goody bag. It was good though. No problems. Very busy road. Some of my favorite restaurants close by.

Overall, we were pleased with the hotel. It was a little dated but they had a great mattress on the bed and all went well. I had a couple of small complaints that weren't what I expected from LaQuinta. We were on the third floor, they actually had a high-pressure water head on the shower, and all was going great until mid-shower the hot water left, and the pressure died down for at least 2-3 minutes. I think this must be an ongoing problem, thus the high-pressure water head. If it had been a normal amount of water, it would have showed to a trickle. I was a little disappointed with the lack of not a single sweet of any kind on the breakfast buffet. So, only a couple of small issues otherwise everything went well.

Positive: Great location. Nice to have 2 restaurant's within walking distance. Negative: Breakfast offerings have noticeably gotten cheaper. Coffee cups are now very small cheap white foam, selection of creamers has been reduced.

My wife stayed here for 4 days while here for work. She enjoyed the room, and the location was okay. She did tell me that the Man at the front desk that works in the afternoon was very rude and had a sarcastic mouth. His name was Jeremy. She was given ugly looks and he was very dismissive when she was talking to him. The property is nice but avoid the front desk if possible.

De la quinta New Braunfels was so horrible. There’s mold all over the walls. I’ve been there three times, and each time there was mold in my room.. Assistant managers, boyfriend was so rude. When checking in. The manager, Cintia doesn’t even know what she’s doing Treating their employees, so horribly all they do is gossip at the front in the morning. Over charging for the pet fee. Every time I went over. It was a different amount. First was $25 for four nights. Second was 100. They couldn’t make up their mind kept charging me.
