La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Macon West

Older hotel undergoing renovation...suite was spacious with pullout sleeper, king bed and 2 tvs. Coffee makeŕ, microwave, mini fridge. Pet friendly. Close to alot of stores and restaurants like Zaxbys, Walmart, Macons Crabhouse and Wendy's. Indoor pool (not heated) and gym. Only downside all overhead lights in room did not work and ice machine only on 1st level. Overall affordable nice.

We checked in around 4:30 on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. Chevita was at the front desk and she was incredible, had everything ready for check in, made sure all our requests were correct and took the time to recommend places for dinner. Later that evening we had a chance to chat again, she is an incredible young woman! Hotel was clean, room was clean but bring your slippers the floors are all hard services. Breakfast was good, the server was helpful and had everything neat, clean and organized. It’s not high end breakfast quality but my lord it’s usually included with your room

Great Service and kind staff. There’s a little language barrier, but overall everyone was super friendly. The rooms were nice and a little bigger than I thought. The breakfast was average not too bad. I’ll definitely be coming back to this hotel on my second trip in May. ☺️

Pros:right off interstate & easy to get to; staff was courteous; room had frig & microwave; nice TV; mattresses new. I do believe our room was renovated. ||Cons:dead skin cells in bed sheets. When reported, the right answer would have been an apology & room change. Instead we were informed “I changed those sheets.” No, sir, you certainly did NOT. We were given new sheets & we remade the bed ourselves. (Should have taken a pic but we thought they were dust bunnies at first.)||Noise in the hallway (people outside talking loudly) but this subsided at 11pm so not disruptive to our sleep. ||A/c unit was VERY loud. Good to cover hall noises, but woke us up every time it went on. It was either too hot or cold in the room. ||Breakfast:we were too afraid to eat it bc of the sheet situation so went
