La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lubbock West Medical Centr

I appreciated the quiet. Even though it was busy and near a highway I couldn't hear the external noise. Pet friendly is a big plus. Would like to see waste bin in pet area emptied regularly and restock waste bags. I don't mind bringing my own but providing them might encourage others to clean up after their dogs.

Gina was in breakfast as always when we stay here her food is amazing.She is always doing something with a smile on her face.|Demonica was at the front desk very helpful exactly what we need. She greeted us with a welcome smile no matter how many times we came down and got snacks.|We went swimming. Had fun just relaxing. |The hotel was very clean. Demonica and Gina did awesome at keeping the first floor common areas clean, vacuum and tables wiped off.|The room was clean and smelled good. It was also very fresh when we walked it which was very pleasant. It gets hot in Texas and us Texans love our A/C.|Thank you to all la Quinta managers and staff for working together and peaceful and relaxing trip.

It was kind of a mix bag staying here. The lobby and dining area are really nice. The hotel was very convenient to texas tech stadium. The staff was really nice. Breakfast had quite a bit of options . As well as being from 7am to 10am. As opposed to the cut off being at 8 or 9am. And the price was affordable. But there was a few issues staying here. One day we lost power for 15 minutes with no explanation. The treadmills in the gym didn't work. The water fountain in the gym didn't actually have water. The bathroom door would not latch close for some reason like the building foundation shifted. The phone in my room didn't work. They also didn't service my room at all the 5 days I was here. With all that said I still believe the hotel was good for the price.

We just left and needless to say it took a lot for us not to switch hotels on the 1st night. We got stuck in elevator.. the other was out of order.. rooms were DUSTY and dirty.. walls are dirty.. restroom sink and tub cracked and rusted or stained. Our room AC didn't work it was hot and stuffy. Would not recommend or go back. A few of the people we travel led with switched hotel 1st night upon arrival, we should of done the same. Hotel needs alot of upkeep. Staff was friendly though.

Positive: Very close to hospital. We are large family and they have plenty of seating and eating tables. Breakfast was passable. Negative: Bed cover had dirt from shoes, trash next to elevators was not picked up. Food crumbs and. Paper trash in hall was for about 3 days. Stayed 5 night no one came to clean room. Never saw anyone vacuuming hall ways. Lots more but not enough space to say.
