La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kerrville

Positive: It was a convenient location. Negative: The room looked like it had been slapped with some paint in an effort to remodel. The bathroom mirror which had lights around it was so dim you could tell it was reused. The mirror in the room needed replacing. Not a good remodel.

Wonderful and attentive staff, shower was warm and soothing, breakfast was great, and the pool and hot tub are sweet. Areas of opportunity would include opening the fitness center and in room 214 some fragrance would be great as the room smells funny, and the mattress is pretty old and worn out. In fact, I didn’t fall asleep until 3:00 in the morning as the springs in the mattress felt like I was sleeping on granite rocks. Lastly, I had purchased a tv dinner and heated it in my microwave and the turntable did not work so the middle stayed cold and the sides heated so it was half cold when I ate it, so time for a new microwave.Overall, service and employees are top notch, but the mattress needs a new home in the dumpster, as well as the microwave!!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a really great stay here. The manager stood out right away. She checked us in when we arrived, and the next day, we saw her working the front desk and helping with breakfast too. You can tell she works very hard and stays positive because she still had a smile on her face. Housekeeping was amazing. Our room was very clean, and everything felt well taken care of. We’ve stayed here before and could tell the property is being updated. We loved the new colors and improvements since our last visit. The rooms were great. From our experience staying at hotels, it’s not very common to see a manager so hands-on and working right alongside the staff. She really deserves recognition. We’d definitely stay here again.

The front desk staff was very nice and accommodating but the rooms were really bad. We had two rooms and both needed exterminating (roaches). In addition, there was an unpleasant odor throughout the entire hotel. The rooms were in need of cleaning and repainting as the trim was very rusted and beat up. We will not be staying here again.

We stayed here because we have a dog and their pet fee is very reasonable. The front desk clerk was very friendly and quick with getting us checked in. The room was good and it was clean with a comfortable bed. Elevator worked first time we went up to the third floor but when my husband went to take the luggage carrier back downstairs and get a forgotten item, the elevator didn’t work. He was told they sometimes have problems with it. It did work the rest of the time we were there.
