Kerrville KOA Journey

This park only has a few spaces but it is a great place to stay. The spots are gravel with full hookups. The bathrooms/showers are really clean. The first day we were here we saw a staff member hand scrubbing the shower mats. Unlike most parks where the store closes early, this one stayed open until 8. They also have propane and gas pumps. Our neighbor said he was going to fill up before leaving because the gas prices were much lower that the highway gas stations. If you stay here, you will be in a quiet park but close to town (Kerrville). You are also only 25 miles from Fredricksburg, a place everyone needs to visit.

This is a wonderful, small, and well maintained campground. No noisy freeways nearby. The rates are very good for monthly stays. Mark and Mary (managers) are very friendly and welcoming people. This may become our winter home.

We stayed a night here and it is a great nice and peaceful place. The lodge we stayed in was clean and cozy. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We definitely would recommend this KOA and we will be back for sure.

Couple that runs the campground were very welcoming. The store offers wide variety of items. Bathrooms were clean. Campground was nice and quiet and well cared for. 😀

Customer service was great. The sites could be better at being leveled. And the proximity to the road was too loud at night. All that being said it's a nice place to stay with spacious laundry and rec room and everything you could need in a pinch for sale in the store. Very close to groceries, Walmart and dinning
