La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Indianapolis Downtown

Room was small, beds were clean looking but smelt terrible. Carpets were not vacuumed. One elevator for entire building and it’s definitely an older building for sure it has 4 buttons and a light switch inside so basement,1,2,3 and elevator is gross inside. Parking garage underneath hotel is atrocious. Trash everywhere and food. We walked up the garage to the hotel and on the exit wall someone let their bodily functions💩 down the wall and was running down the ramp 🤢. I would not stay here for the price. I would not stay here if it was free again.

Positive: Location was the best part. Easy to get to and walkable to the things we wanted to go to. Good enough for a 1 night stay but wouldn't stay longer. Negative: The smell of the cleaners was heavy I throughout the hotel anf our room. Luckily I could open the window in the room. The a/c unit was loud. We opted to open the window over night and listen to sirens instead. The shower had no water pressure.

The elevator was a little ganky and small, having said that, the service was excellent, room was very nice, breakfast was average. I would most definitely recommend staying there again. Really appreciate the staff. Very polite and accommodating. Wasn't a bit nervous getting in bed to close my eyes.

1. A year ago, I booked 4 rooms via Booking.com, but I mistakenly reserved from July 29th to August 2nd instead of August 3nd.||2. I realized the mistake and called the hotel on 09/23/2024. They corrected the reservation and sent me confirmation for 4 rooms up to Sunday, August 3rd. However, they changed the rate for all nights instead of just adding the extra night. Still, the issue seemed resolved, and I was confident my team would have a place to stay.||3. A week before the convention, I realized we only needed 3 rooms. I called the hotel to cancel one, and they told me I had to do it via Booking.com. When I did, Booking.com charged me a cancellation fee — even though I canceled before the 07/28/25 deadline stated in the confirmation.||4. That same week, we noticed the Booking.com reser

Worst hotel stay ever. Pros: it was conveniently located by the event I was in Indy for. Cons: literally every thing else Omnipresent weird smell. Small, outdated, precarious elevator. Broken gate on staircase. Paper thin walls - I heard everything the couple next door said. And I d.e.f.i.n.i.t.e.l.y. heard their baby crying through the night. Not mad at them! But it meant I also only got 4 hours of sleep. Flickering lights, dripping pipes, and low ceilings on the underground parking. Poor lighting in rooms. Uncomfortable beds. Heating/cooling unit was unreliable. Room doors would slam closed but then you'd still have to pull it shut (listen for the click). Some kind of bugs crawling around. And I just have to mention it again the whole place smells weird and it lingers on your stuff eve
