La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Glen Rose

I'd stay at this joint again. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was nice and hot. The staff was very friendly, and a free hot breakfast was included in the lobby each morning. The room included free Wi-Fi, a mini fridge, and a coffee maker. The location was about a 15-minute drive from Dinosaur Valley State Park and within a mile of the downtown square in Glen Rose, where there are plenty of shopping and dining options. There are two convenience stores nearby, and a burger place right across the street from the hotel. Very convenient!

The couple who run this location are incredibly kind and welcoming. When we walked in the lobby I was so impressed with the decor and how fresh and clean it smells. They have a coffee bar set up in the lobby for my fellow caffeine aficionados. The hotel is not brand new, but it is very well maintained and has been updated with attention to detail. They are pet friendly and I am always suspicious of what to expect from hotels that are but it was so clean and fresh you would never know an animal was ever there! We stayed in a double bed room, the mattresses were incredibly comfortable and the linens were excellent quality and cotton. Three pillows per bed (would have loved four), but they were wonderful quality pillows! The bedside table had an alarm clock that had an outlet for a two prong

Positive: Nothing one of the worst I stayed in Negative: The rooms where dirty and the paint was peeling in the bathroom the bathroom door wood not shut glad I only had one night in this place just not a comfortable stayTried using pool the the hot tube did not work and the over all conditions where poor.

Great Hotel and Good Value for money. Beds are so comfortable, room was super clean, fresh and welcoming. Bathroom was very clean and new shower with plenty of fresh clean towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, hairdryer, make-up remover wipes and hand soap. Room has a microwave, big fridge/freezer, desk, chairs and coffee making equipment. In the lobby there's plenty of free fresh cool water, tea and coffee making equipment. Breakfast was included and was delicious, hot and plenty of hot cooked eggs, omelettes, breakfast link sausages, waffles, toast, cereal, orange and apple juice, yogurt, fruit, etc Not much Gluten Free options just the scrambled eggs and fruit. Excellent hotel and place to rest up. Welcoming, friendly, helpful staff. Great facilities, gym, pool, elevator, wheelchair access, included delicious breakfast with lots of options, waffles, cooked breakfast items, yogurts, fruit, cereal, milk, orange juice etc and toaster available if you bring your own Gluten Free bread and toaster bags to make Gluten Free toast. Rooms were spacious, very comfortable big beds, TVs, wifi, microwave and big fridge and freezer in the rooms. Bathroom was updated, modern, fresh and clean, well equipped with hairdryer, shampoo and conditioner and body wash, makeup remover wipes and hand soap and plenty of fresh, clean towels. Great location near the Dinosaur Park and off main Glen Rose road, quiet, calm, peaceful location.
