High Hope Ranch

I found this beautiful gem a year ago and am hooked! Everything about this place is magical. The caretakers are awesome! The animals are friendly. The little farm shop is quaint and full of natural, homemade, local products. Their meat and eggs are delicious and it matters to me knowing where the food comes from and how it's raised. The land is beautiful and full of wonderful surprises. Whether you simply want to take a day hike or stay overnight in one of the cabins or with your camping gear, this is a "must visit place" for all nature lovers and outdoorsmen.

Really amazing place to get away! Our family always goes in The Spring and Fall! Spring is bluebonnet season and baby pigs and goats, Fall is Harvest Festival, they have an amazing selection of Pumpkins,a Farm Store stocked with all the goodness from the harvest directly from High Hope, live music, food vendors and crafters and Games for the kids along with a Hay Ride! Its become tradition!

High Hope Ranch is a phenomenal visit! Whether it’s for an event, like the Harvest Festival or yoga or just for a hike, it has been a fantastic experience. Their on-site store has excellent wares and the critters are adorable. 10/10 recommend. They are friendly and welcoming every time. You won’t leave unhappy!

We were 4 adults and 2 kids. We were initially booked at Humara but they had maintenance that weekend. She offered the Habari house that has 5 bedrooms which was great. We were able to find extra blankets and towels. We would cook 2 or 3 times a day and the house would smoke. We would put the kitchen fan on but it would redirect the smoke back to the house and not outside. Luckily, the windows had screens and we would open the windows for the cooking smells and smoke to escape. We bought fajita from the store which was very tender. We bought their goat meat, we haven't tried it yet. They also have a gas grill in the back. We didn't bring our pet this time but she was willing to let him come and stay with us. I really liked the fact that the house had a huge washer and dryer but it was hard

We enjoyed a beautiful stay at the Huruma house at High Hope Ranch! The Cowboy Pool was an amazing addition to our stay. We enjoyed the farm store and petting the goats and pigs. Highly recommend booking a stay here if you are wanting to visit Glen Rose!
