Holiday Inn Express & Suites Glen Rose by IHG

This hotel was easy to access from the highway yet far enough away to not have the road noise. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. The breakfastwas pretty good also. I will have no problem staying here next time I come through.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Glen Rose, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I've had at any Holiday Inn Express! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed. Darla at the front desk was an absolute delight—she was genuinely interested in ensuring our stay was perfect, which made a real difference in our experience. The hotel grounds were immaculate, and the charming mural on the fence along with the lovely fall decorations on either side of the entrance added a special touch to the atmosphere. It truly felt like a home away from home! We spent some quality time at the pool and hot tub, both of which were fantastic. I usually don’t consider pools and hot tubs to be highlights of my stays, but our whole family

The front lobby worker was very friendly and greeting me, the room was very clean. Very quiet having the coffee machine microwave and mini fridge were fantastic. The AC was quiet yet cooled the room properly without abrupt noises whenever the compressor would kick on. The breakfast was eggs, pancake station, sausage, rolls biscuits, bagels, and other assorted breakfast food. Overall, very good experience if you’re looking for a hotel in the area highly recommend it.

Sherri at the front desk was amazing. However, the noise at this hotel was unacceptable. The room doors are very loud and quiet hours are not enforced. Stayed three nights and each night the loud banging of doors started before 6am. Called the front desk and nothing was done. Emailed GM after arriving back home and called twice, but no response. I would never stay here again. My handicapped husband was not able to rest properly.

All in all, we had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room was clean, the shower was excellent, and the staff was incredibly polite and friendly. We enjoyed the hot tub and the pool. Housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping our room fresh for us. The only downside was breakfast was somewhat lackluster due to the pancake machine being out of order during our stay. However, there are many places nearby to get breakfast, so that’s not a dealbreaker! We would definitely stay here again.
