La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fargo-Medical Center

Stayed here for Squirts Internationals. 4 days and 3 nights. The young gentleman working the front desk is very charismatic and helpful. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was always fully stocked and offered variety. Pool is on the smaller side, 3.5ft deep and warm water. Water slide was out of order. Perfect safety depth for kids to play together and all ages to enjoy it. The Dakota Room would be a great place to gather as a team or for a group of kids to enjoy floor hockey together. Our air unit quit working in the room. Someone from the front desk came immediately. Offered us a different room or a portable heater. We opted for the portable heater, as we only had one night left to stay. It was new, had a remote and worked great. We opted for housekeeping not to clean during our

Room was clean. That’s the best I can say about this place. Service desk personnel were not helpful at all. There’s a parental control lock on the TV, so you can’t watch some channels, and of course the front desk doesn’t know the code. The snack area had a completely empty drink refrigerator. When I asked the girls about it, they said they were waiting for the order. Wouldn’t it make sense for the manager to go to Costco or Sam’s club and restock the refreshments and snacks? There’s construction happening now, which is fine, but it would be nice to know before booking. Also, we stopped and got bathing suits because we forgot ours…and, you guessed it, the hot tub is out of order. We’ve stayed here once before and had a good experience, but I’m not sure we’ll be back. Overall, not super hap

We enjoyed the service and breakfast. The mini mart was average. We did have a room door issue the last night but we mutually made the most of it. Had it happened the first night, we'd have taken them up on moving to another room. Their pool experience was a complete flunk. The spa or hot tub is more valuable to us then the pool and this is the second Wyndham Fargo hotel in the last six months where the spa / hot tub was down for our complete stay (minimum two nights).

Positive: The staff were nice for the most part and it was clean. Negative: You weren?t able to take a shower due to the shower head being broken. Let the staff know our first night there and all we got was thanks for letting us know. We checked out early and they didn?t say a word and I still haven?t heard back from them.

Location was conveniently located next to the hospital and I’d stayed here before 7+ years ago and it was decent then. Now, not so much. The room was gross, the ceilings had substantial water stains in the halls, the elevator took forever and sounded like it would malfunction at any second. The furniture and walls in the room had substantial stains and spills and crumbs- clearly not getting even wiped down. It was gross, had I been here with my kids I would’ve definitely packed up and left but it was cheapish and had to get to the hospital by 5am. They did give a late checkout which was appreciated so we could come back for our stuff. Nasty and not kept up overall. They are doing construction so maybe eventually it’ll be usable again 🤷‍♀️
