La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Erie

The hotel was fine, budget hotel. The fun began when I dropped my phone behind the mattress at 5am. I had to move the mattress, and when I did I saw what were bed bugs. I squished one and it left blood mark on the box spring. Later in the day I noticed a bump develop on my cheek. I called the property manager, he said the room would be examined for bed bugs. Of course he said there were no bed bugs found. Suppose what else would they say???? In conclusion, check under your mattress when you check in, otherwise you might end up with a nasty bump, bite on your face like I did. Better yet, don't stay here!

Great Hotel stay! Everything was clean: lobby, room, pool, breakfast area. Staff was excellent, especially Becky. Great Value!

Positive: Location, that is it. Negative: The fitness room windows were broken.Fitness room door was broken.Equipment did not work. The pool was cloudy. The bathroom fan in my room did not work. The window in my room was so dirty.You could not see out of it. The elevator didn't work properly.

Perfect location to the thruway but you can hear the traffic so if your sensitive to noises while you sleep you might want to consider earplugs. Microwave didn't work in room, but everything else was clean and was provided with plenty of towels and washcloths. I booked online so cost was considerably less than at the hotel.

Horrible stay! Was told the pool was heated, it was freezing cold & that was the Only reason we booked here. Windows were frozen & soaking wet. Rooms smelled disgusting.. door kept falling off the dresser. Hair clips from previous guest were on the floor. Was there 2 hours to “wait for the pool to warm up” & wanted to leave. Refused to refund me for the night, so had to stay. Awful experience.
