La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham DFW Airport West - Bedford

Great place to stay! The hotel seems a little older but it's been refreshed recently and is still really nice. Breakfast is typical free hotel breakfast of eggs, sausage, and waffles with juice and coffee. The lady fixing breakfast, Gabby, was incredibly kind and was always asking about my day and wishing me the best.

This has by far been the greatest stay I’ve ever had. Jasmine and Alex were both extremely professional and accommodating throughout my entire visit. When I arrived, there was a gentleman and his family that was ahead of me at check-in who was impatient and rude, yet Jasmine handled the situation with grace while simultaneously restocking, keeping the lobby clean for incoming guests, assisting a family in need, and training Alex. I was truly impressed by how well she managed the front desk and how effortlessly she multitasked. I usually come here for work, but this time was different as I am grieving the recent passing of my husband. I was disappointed because the hotel advertises a 24-hour shuttle service on Booking.com. However, when I arrived, I waited for the shuttle and eventually had to call, only to be told that it operates only until midnight. The availability of a shuttle is something I specifically consider when booking a hotel. If it had been clearly stated that the shuttle does not run 24 hours, I would have chosen a different place to stay. That said, I’m giving an extra star for the sweet lady at the reception in the morning.

Positive: Location was perfect and the pool was nice Negative: The beds were horrible. Not comfortable. Did not sleep well. The first room we were in, the ac was not working so it was so hot. We switched rooms and it was a little better. Breakfast was less than average. Made my husband sick shortly after eating.

Such a nice place to stay. Staff made the difference. Front desk staff was always kind and friendly and the other staff was always respectful. Breakfast was simple but tasty :-)
