Homewood Suites by Hilton Ft. Worth-Bedford

Please heed all of the reviews, they're not wrong, dramatic, lying etc.. To start, we didn't leave or request another room because we checked in early through the app and didn't come to the room until about 1 AM on New Year's day. We dropped our stuff in the room and everything was normal. About 1.5 hours later we decided to go to bed and when we spotted the roach on our bed. My husband killed it and we inspected the bed and didn't see anything else so we proceeded with caution. My husband slept in all his clothes and didn’t want to take off his shoes for fear that there would be more roaches. Rightfully so considering the next morning when we woke up early to leave the room (didn't want to be there longer than we needed to be) we found 3 more roaches in the bathroom, one near the bathroom

The rooms are in rough shape, there were bugs in my room, breakfast is disgusting, the staff is not helpful and is often not around. Also, my room was not cleaned even though I was there several days. On the second full day of my stay, when it was scheduled to be cleaned (they clean every other day), someone entered my room when I was not there and put the do not disturb sign on my door and left without cleaning it. How do I know? Because I did not touch the sign and it was not on the outside of the door when I left that morning. I'm guessing someone didn't want to have to clean my room, or they were overwhelmed and didn't have time to clean it. This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. I decided to give Homewood Suites a try despite some negative reviews, mainly because they were one of the few in the area offering a two bedroom suite. Overall, the place was clean, and I was thankful for that. We didn’t see any bugs inside, just the giant mosquitos outside that looked big enough to need their own room key.||A few simple changes could make a big difference in the overall experience. The towels are rough and should really be replaced. The pillows were mostly half sized, which felt odd, and also could use an update. The queen beds did not have full bedding, and what was there was thin, rough, and didn’t keep you warm. Positive: The staff was all great and very clean. Negative: I payed for a room with a fireplace and even though there was one in the room I wasn't allowed to use it so I was very upset. The breakfast was mainly Mexican and I do like Mexican food but not for breakfast

possibly one of the worse places ive stayed at. I wish i read the reviews ahead of time. The hotel is run down. dirty rooms. It was nice that someone left " natures viagra" in my room. Housekeeping is not thorough. Left over spices in the cupboards, dont even know how long they've been there. They offer complimentary breakfast on their terms. As a selling feature to book the room they should honour it. They are still compensating for " free breakfast" in the price as there were other hotels cheaper not including breakfast. They continually ran out of items where you had to ask to replenish them and there was still over an hour left of breakfast. Final day here and there was NO breakfast, because of the storm.
