La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Buffalo Amherst

Great location. Affordable. Very clean and updated. Comfortable beds. Bathrooms are clean and nicely set up. Mini fridge and microwave great for convenience. Complimentary breakfast is very good. I will definitely stay at LaQuinta again!

5 mins from the University of Buffalo, so that was a plus! We found parking right away. Everything was good from when we got there, to checking out. Breakfast was good. They had eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes (could use a little more cooking), cereal, coffee, bagels, already-prepared batter to make your own waffles, fruits, juices, tiny muffins, etc. The service overall was good. Only complain is that they did not provide hand soap in our rooms to wash our hands, or toothpaste. And their tv’s are NOT SMART TV. Big disappointment! The beds and pillows were very comfy. There were also little kids in the hallway for about 20 mins playing around but then they were pulled back into their room. Also, I like to sleep with white noise so I kept trying to turn on the heater and it would not stay on

Positive: The beds were comfortable Negative: Our floor smelled like marijuana the whole trip. The breakfast was not good and Housekeeping only came to our room to replace our towels 2 times. The other 2 days they didn?t come at all.

The place looks and feels basically new. The building and facilities are well maintained and staff are friendly, helpful, and available. Breakfast was wonderful. The dog was welcomed. We stayed on two occasions for surgery - the location has been peaceful and extremely convenient and all kinds of restaurants and shopping sit a stone's throw away. My favorite - the place is sparkling clean and smells amazing.

Service plays a big role when it comes to reviewing a place. The breakfast was amazing. The location was amazing also. The rooms pretty good put pretty small. Even though this has a higher stars. Don't be fooled. The extended stay pasted the hill is way better! Way bigger room you get a big fridge and stove burners (4). Way nicer people. I'm looking at you Stephanie. Not just better staff but better people living there. And guess what? It's cheaper! You might only get a grab-and-go breakfast but that's worth have an amazing service and living near way better people.
