La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Birmingham Homewood

I had a wonderful one-night stay at La Quinta. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making the check-in process quick and easy. My room was cozy with all the essential amenities, and the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The breakfast offered was simple but satisfying. Overall, it was a pleasant and hassle-free stay, and I would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area. Highly recommended!

Positive: Size of the room/bathroom. The dove shampoo/conditioner/lotion. The bathroom lighting. Breakfast. Negative: Felt like a maze walking the hallways. We decided to walk around the hotel outside to get our breakfast. Maybe put up more signs in the hallways/elevators. Put a map of hotel in the room showing “you are here” making it easier to get where I want go.

I was just passing through & at last minute deceided to grab a room. Like most people I checked prices online, only to find that in-house prices were the cheapest skipping the middle man. I was beyond exhausted & this was the MOST hastle free booking that I have EVER had. Booked a simple room, no frills, just needed a bed for a few hours. The free breakfast in the morning was simple, yet very much appreciated. The room was clean, the bathroom was spotless. I could not have asked for anything more. I just needed a quite place to sleep. On this day, I was in town to pick up a semi truck & trailer to tow back home to Jacksonville FL. There was a seperate lot where I was able to park my rig which at the time was over 100ft long. Upon entry to bathroom, it reeked of urine. The dispenser on the bathroom counter was filthy. The room was old looking and outdated. The shower track with the sliding glass doors was filthy. The hotel attendant at the counter charged the incidentals and the room charge on one card in which I wanted the charges on separate cards. The property grounds were clean. There was free ample parking. Breakfast looked like a nice touch, but, much to be desired in my humble opinion. People were laughing, talking loud, and seemed to be partying on my floor. Doors were constantly being slammed on my floor.

I have stayed at this La Quinta Homewood twice, in the past couple of months. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathroom has good water pressure with hot water. The bedding is perfect with good mattresses & pillows. The location is extremely accessible and is located near a lot of good restaurants and shopping areas. The staff is always remarkable and friendly. I like staying at the La Quintas because they are pet friendly and charge a reasonable price for the pet. I find the prices for La Quintas as a whole to be extremely reasonable. The rooms are accessed through the lobby with an inside entrance, which is a plus for safety, as I travel by myself. The parking lot is free and easy, well lit with good outside lighting. They usually put me in a convenient room located near an outsi
