La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Atlanta South - Newnan

Positive: The room was clean, and the AC worked great to keep us cool. The parking lot was well lit, giving peace of mind for our vehicle. Very impressive were the streaming options, as they had multiple services where you could stream many shows for free. Negative: They were short on their normal breakfast foods, but they still had a decent selection.

The first room we booked had a barking dog next door and they accommodated us by switching. Unfortunately that was close to the exit door that opened several times during the night. That room also only had blinds no dark curtains so my husband and I didn’t sleep very well. Breakfast was decent with waffles and syrup and some eggs and pork sausage. The next night we asked for another room and they upgraded us to a bigger room in the top floor that was much nicer for no extra charge. We did appreciate their efforts to try and make our stay better. The location is right near all the restaurants and mall. The place looked like it was newly renovated and could be cleaner. I am from the Chicago, IL area. However, this was my first time ever staying at this Hotel in Newnan, GA. My daughter & I stayed here from Thursday night 10/16/25 thru Sunday night 10/19/25 & we absolutely, love it here! We were booked for a room on the basement level floor which was my first time ever staying on the basement level at a hotel & we felt it was very quiet/peaceful, less traffic of people walking through the hallways, & the beds are very comfortable, with nicely cleaned sheets. I really love the contemporary style bathroom especially the elegant mirror with the classy style lighting trimmed around it & the towels are very clean too. If you're looking for an all night party, stained sheets, or a hallway conversation before the sun comes up, this is your place. If you're halfway through a 12hr drive and need a place for your family to rest, keep driving. We were told there were hardly any guests but yet we were placed right next to a room that had music blasting. We were 10 feet from the front desk but yet had to call numerous times to ask to have them turn it down. At 2am, the party finally concluded with doors slamming to be told those guests just left. Finally, a little peace and quiet, until around 4am, outside our door, the loudest conversation you can imagine. I will never make reservations with this company again. When I made My booking it was for McDonough Ga I received a confirmation before closing the booking. I always take screenshots which shows the picture of the hotel in McDonough. When I received my confirmation email it was for newnan Ga. That’s and hour to an hour and a half away from where I booked. I’m booking for a wedding so decided to go cheaper and get non refundable apparently non amendable since there’s no way I’m missing this wedding ( my daughter). I called them immediately upon getting the confirmation email for the wrong city. They are refusing to change my reservation to the correct city. The picture is clearly the correct one but since the screenshot doesn’t show the city they are refusing to help. I have 3 rooms
