La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Atlanta Ballpark/Galleria

I love my stay here and will continue to book stays here. I was offered comfort, a peace of mind, breakfast, and just an overall good experience. The staff was well mannered and helpful. No hard times were given. The rooms were clean, the laundry service provided clean linen when needed.

Had to switch rooms twice. First room had weed in it, second room the lock on the door was broken, third was missing doorknob on the bathroom and the soap dish in the shower was missing. There were just 3 screws in it's place. The food was suspect with the sausages making multiple people feel ill. Also the elevator literally falls when people enter it and it's 6 months past due for inspection. Could not get out of there fast enough, it was the only option at the time.

My stay at this hotel in Atlanta was below average, and several issues negatively impacted my experience.||The room key card rarely worked, which was very frustrating and required multiple attempts just to enter the room. The room had a strong humidity smell, making it feel uncomfortable and poorly maintained.||The interior of the hotel also looks very old. The yellow color used throughout the hotel gives it an outdated and worn feel, and the lobby has the same old, tired appearance instead of feeling welcoming or modern.||Breakfast was disappointing, with very limited options and little variety of food.||Overall, the hotel did not meet expectations. Improvements in maintenance, interior updates, reliable key cards, and a better breakfast selection are clearly needed.

Positive: The location was about all I liked. The room was FILTHY! My wife got cleaning supplies to clean the room! The shower curtain wouldn't stay closed because it wasn't attached right! Junk room! I'll NEVER stay there again! Negative: The room was FILTHY! Old carpet, holes in the wall that weren't patched, holes that weren't fixed, no fan in the bathroom....JUNKY OLD ROOM! NO SECURE WIFI! The card readers barely worked in the WHOLE BUILDING! JUNK! I'LL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!

**UNSAFE** They gave us not one but two rooms with people currently in them. One of the rooms we walked into had a sleeping baby. When we told them both times about the rooms having people in them the front desk work didn’t even say sorry or barely acknowledged us. We asked to speak to a manager and she did not come out the back room the entire and we could hear her laughing. EDITED after all this happened they locked us out of our room because they never updated the system to what room we were staying in. Not even 15 minutes after going to the front desk. an employee tried to come into our room after waiting 3 seconds after knocking to “check the room” while I did not have any clothes on.
