Our flight was delayed on Christmas Eve due to a mechanical issue, and the airline put us up at this hotel. What should have been a simple overnight stay turned into one of the most uncomfortable hotel experiences I’ve ever had.||The room was filthy and poorly maintained. There was broken furniture, and the overall condition made us hesitant to even use the toilet. Neither of us used the shower. I took numerous photos because it was hard to believe a room in this state was being rented to guests.||The worst moment came when my husband turned on the air conditioning. A visible cloud of debris and buildup blew out of the unit, and the room immediately filled with a damp, moldy smell, like a wet basement. Whatever had accumulated inside that AC unit clearly had not been cleaned in a very long
I’ve never written a poor review before…. But this was just so disgusting I couldn’t allow another family to experience this. The room smelled so strongly of cigarettes it actually gagged my 6 year old. The floors had burn marks in them and were covered with ash and dirt. The entire room including the bathroom baseboards and walls were coated in grey ash. It looked and smelled as though it had never been cleaned. The chase couch in the living area was shredded to bits and heavily stained. It seemed like it had been retrieved from a dumpster. This room was so uninhabitable that we spent less than 3 minutes in it. I had my 2 small children with me and felt sick even letting them walk in there. The floors were sticky, every piece of furniture was hanging by the hinges. Even the headboards h
This isn’t just one of the most disgusting hotel rooms I’ve ever been in, it’s one of the most disgusting rooms. They literally painted the whole tub with white paint. I presume this is because it made it look better. It looks ridiculous painted, so how gross did it look before? Thermostat doesn’t work. It’s not even worth listing everything. Absolutely awful!! In the reply below there are three paragraphs and a lot of words, but nothing was really said. I assure you nothing was done either. No one has contacted me, and I’d be extremely surprised if any cleaning was done. The model here is inelastic demand near an airport. That’s why this place is disgusting and will continue to be disgusting. This company does not care about delivering a pleasant experience to the customer late at night
My family and I traveled down to Atlanta for the weekend. The hotel is in a decent location but I immediately noticed it had very limited parking to accommodate guests. When you walk in the hotel is beautiful and seems to be renovated and updated to have a more modern appeal. Looks can be deceiving however! The cleaning crew does a great job with mopping floors and maintaining the common area and elevator, but the upkeep of the furniture and appliances in the room was a different story. The first room we had appeared to look good until you started to pay attention to minor details, (which to me are most important at times). The toilet made a very strange noise every 30 seconds or so and was so loud that it disturbed me from watching tv or even having a conversation with family. We told mai
I recently stayed at La Quinta inn Suites Wyndham by Airport in Atlanta, Georgia, and my experience was extremely disappointing. I was first assigned Room 217. When I walked in, the room was clearly in poor condition. The bedsheets had visible urine stains near the bedding, which was completely unacceptable. The room itself looked run down and poorly maintained. No guest should ever walk into a room in that condition. After reporting the issue, I was moved to Room 102. While this room was slightly better, it was still not up to acceptable standards. The overall condition of the hotel appears neglected and in serious need of renovation and deep cleaning. It was also clear that some individuals are living there as extended-stay residents. Regardless of whether someone is staying one nigh
